Bronze Tongue, Tuned Lip, Decorative Belts on the Skirt
Your silence most offends me, and to be merry best becomes you; for, out of question, you were born in a merry hour.
No, sure, my lord, my mother cried; but then there was a star danced, and under that was I born.

Congrats, Laura. I hadn't read either of those before, and they're beautiful.
Really like these two--congrats!
Hi Sarah and Valerie,
Thank you so much! I was so happy to get these in kaleidowhirl. I love that journal.
Dear Laura, The poems look great. I love them now as i did when i first read them. I'm so happy for you. I wanted to share some good news with you. I got an HM at IBPC. I'm so excited. Maybe now I'll send out some work. I tried a couple of months ago but was rejected so I sulked and swore I'd never do that again. Well, today, I might try again.
love,
brenda
Oh, Brenda, congrats!!! That is just fabulous. I'm going to go and look it up right now. Do keep submitting. I love your work. And the rejections, well, I'm getting used to them. Maybe you can borrow Sarah's "necktie cape." It really does help!
Love,
Laura
